The R6S was a milder, more road-oriented version of the R6 sold mainly in North America, using a detuned R6 engine with conventional fuel injection instead of the YCC-T throttle. It was heavier than the full R6 and used 320 mm front discs, aimed at riders wanting supersport looks with easier manners.
